The directory pages
The pincode, post office, district and state pages are built automatically from the India Post directory data. Each page shows the data for that place, with a map and the nearest offices worked out from map positions. We run automatic checks on the data, for example for missing districts and map positions that fall in the wrong place.
The guides
Our guides and tool pages are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, following a strict brief: plain language, practical steps, and no fact that has not been checked against an official source. A person then reviews each guide, checks the facts and edits or removes anything that is not clear or certain.
The tools
The calculators run in your browser. The calculators use the formulas and compounding rules India Post uses, and we test them against India Post’s own maturity tables.
